I am Mahroof K — an AI & Digital Product Leader, Program & Transformation Specialist, and ex-founder who has spent 12 years building, scaling, and delivering technology products that matter.
My journey began in 2013 when I founded Cedex Technologies, a custom software and AI company in Kochi. Over nine years, I grew it from a two-person operation to a 25-member organisation generating over 85% of its revenue from the US, Europe, Canada, and Australia. In late 2022, Cedex was acquired by Centelon Solutions, an Australian-headquartered enterprise software company.
What makes my profile unusual is the combination of founder instincts, technical depth, and enterprise delivery rigor. I have held every role in a product company: full-stack developer, product owner, program manager, pre-sales lead, and CEO. I understand why technical decisions get made, how teams get blocked, what clients actually need versus what they say they need, and how to align all of it to business outcomes.
I started building conversational AI products in 2016 before the term "GenAI" existed. Our Sony MAX Filmykaant chatbot served 2 million+ unique users with peak throughput of 1 million conversations per day. It was recognised globally as a Facebook Top 10 Chatbot and selected for the FBStart program. We built it on a custom Hinglish (Hindi-in-English) NLP model that we created from scratch because no off-the-shelf solution existed.
Most recently, I led end-to-end product delivery at an enterprise GenAI conversational platform. I recruited and built the full cross-functional team from the ground up, architected a scalable multi-model LLM pipeline using OpenRouter, and took the product from requirements definition to production-ready MVP on schedule with 100% sprint delivery consistency.
I hold a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) from the College of Engineering Trivandrum (Kerala's first and top-ranked engineering college) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from IGNOU, backed by both PMP® and Google Project Management certifications.

Founded Cedex Technologies
Started a custom software and AI company in Kochi with zero funding. Grew organically to 25+ members, delivering for global enterprises and generating 85%+ revenue from international markets.
Launched FoodDay SaaS Platform
Developed an end-to-end food ordering SaaS ecosystem similar to Swiggy and UberEats. Built and successfully deployed web applications alongside dedicated Android and iOS mobile apps for customers, delivery agents, and restaurant partners.
Pioneered Conversational AI
Built one of India's first dedicated Conversational AI practices. Delivered chatbots and voicebots for Sony MAX, Gillette, Orange Telecom, Fevicol, Adani Power, and GBM across IBM Watson, Dialogflow, Rasa, Alexa, and Google Actions.
Founded BotArtisans
Launched a dedicated chatbot and voicebot development wing. Engineered domain-specific SaaS bot products serving online hotel room bookings, food ordering, and the recruitment sector.
QuizMaster Chatbot & FB Start
Developed a competitive exam quiz bot on Facebook Messenger scaling to over 1.5 million unique users. Recognized as a top 10 chatbot on the platform and selected for the exclusive FB Start initiative to accelerate startup growth.
Sony MAX Filmykaant
Delivered India's highest-traffic entertainment chatbot — 2M+ unique users, 1M+ daily conversations. Built a custom Hinglish NLP/NLU model from scratch. Recognised as Facebook Top 10 Chatbot globally.

Founded and developed a B2B SaaS application designed to help enterprise users conduct, manage, and analyze complex surveys for product and company feedback.
